It was like a smooth flowing river.
It is so refreshing to be able to talk to someone without having the burden of thinking of what to say next.
It was a really good conversation. Plus you're not bad-looking. Hah.
...
Caught between soft awakenings
and restful slumber,
it was your face I saw
in different chapters of a dream
You invaded my mind.
Restless and rested at the same time.
and i know now how it feels to be weakened like Achilles with you always at my heels - Ghost, Indigo Girls
And isn't it nice when someone makes you feel good about yourself?
You made me feel pretty.
Thank you, kind sir.

He'd be dead if looks could kill.
I'm a bitch when I need be.
Teriyaki Boy with my dearest girlfriends. After dinner we went out to the veranda for some fresh and not so fresh air. While we were talking, a T-Boy server went out of the restaurant and positioned himself too near our group. He was only an arm's length from us. At first we didn't mind but then he started indiscreetly giving us looks, and they weren't exactly the flattering kind. Now here I have to mention that when things like these happen, I'm usually the one who gets irate.
I switched to war mode.
"Excuse me could you move over there. You're making us uncomfortable."
The jerk moved. Good thing, or else if he didn't I would have gone in and reported him to the manager.
Is it so hard for some guys to treat girls with RESPECT?

Birth Certificate Delivery!
Yes, there is such a thing. Say goodbye to the long lines at the NSO!
I got wind of this delivery service through my aunt. All you have to do is to call up (02) 737-1111. They ask for your name, birth date, address and some other information. They also give you a reference number which you'll use in paying for the service. Payments are made at any Metrobank branch. They start processing your request as soon as you pay the P300 bucks. You wait for two to four working days and voila! They deliver it to the address you specified! (The actual birth certificate only costs less than P200 but considering the long process you bypassed, the P300 is definitely worth it!)
I called the number last Friday and paid on the same day. I got the birth certificate Tuesday the next week.

Oh and the service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Go here -> Engrish.com and bust your intestines out!
I just finished watching Sabrina (the Harrison Ford - Julia Ormond version) and I am still in a mushymushy mood.

Impugn, You Imp.
I appreciate the fact that you read what I write. I did not, however, like the way you took the words from my blog and made them your own.
You could have at least gotten a thesaurus and looked up other words aside from the ones I used.
If you lack creativity, I'm sorry but my site's not the place to find yours.
Away with you!

Coffee talk
I tried Starbucks' Coffee Jelly Frap. It was good. I wished the straw were wider though. Every time I sucked on it there was this fear that a piece of jelly would shoot straight into my trachea, at which point someone would have to give me the Heimlich.
Oh, and I had the pandan coffee at Big Sky again last night. Mmm. Nice. And the pasta I had (I forgot what it was called - fettuccine. red sauce. chicken.) was very good, too.
And the other day I tried the Strawberries and Cream drink at Starbucks (again). It was a little too sweet for my taste, though. I wonder why they called it a frap. There wasn't any coffee in it.
And while I was drinking my 'frap'', a barista went around giving free samples of their new blend. Gold Coast. It was a rich, dark and smoky blend. Perfect if you want a good kick-start in the morning or on a cold, rainy afternoon.
Catwoman was... how do I put this? Sappy.

Incoherence
Kainis. I guess that's it then. Who was I kidding anyway? Sigh. At least I have a few things to keep me occupied.
Sometimes I really can get way over my head. I hate expecting. I end up being disappointed. I've learned not to expect things. What made me forget this time?
The drama is eating up my brain.
I learned one good thing though. To keep myself up and studying, the most efficient formula is coffee + chocolate bar at 9pm. (I'm still up. It's past 4am.) I'm nowhere near drowsiness though I have to hit the sack right after I log out.
Oh, another good thing is this guy from my not so recent past (who isn't really from the past -- go figure.) said he was so proud of me. It's nice to have someone tell me that. I hardly ever hear it anymore. Thank you thank you wikey.
Hmm now that I think about it, the good outweighs the bad stuff right now.
Thank You. You do take care of me.

Misspelled
There is nothing more personal and more uniquely identifying than your name. So how would you feel if someone misspelled it? And kept on misspelling it? Despite the fact that you've known each other for quite a while, he doesn't even bother enough to correct himself. This goes not just with you, but with others' names as well. And when asked why, he'd tell you I just wanted it that way.
We show respect to people in different ways. Getting names right is just one of these ways. It may be a minor thing -- something totally negligible for others -- but it STILL shows respect.
Sheesh. If this is the way you REALLY are, then I guess I should start questioning just how worthy you are of my trust.
...
DETAILS. I PAY ATTENTION TO DETAILS.
You see the bigger picture. You dream big and you dream high. That's all good. I applaud you for that. But in your haste to achieve those dreams you forget about the little things. Something as permanent as what you had in your hands SHOULD look good. You failed in that department. And you laugh at my finickiness. You think it's silly. Fine. I'd take the silly.
No. You're the one who doesn't understand. It is in those details - those things you think are negligible - that we are judged.
I plead. Open the gates of your mind.

So it goes.
Been away.
I think I gained some weight. I need a different coping mechanism or else I'll be needing a complete wardrobe revamp. No-can-do. (Tss. Get in my head and see just how I cope with my coping mechanism. Not nice, I tell you. Not nice at all.)
In this state of self-containment I found myself wanting in speaking skills. The words don't come as easily as they used to. Isn't that funny? I surround myself with thousands of words all day yet when I need to speak, I find that I can't. My social skills are deteriorating. I can't wait for this to be over.
I'm missing everyone.
In due time.
So I go.
