The function of music is to release us from the tyranny of conscious thought. - Sir Thomas Beecham

Miles and miles.

I put Urbandub's Birth cd in the disk drive because I wanted to listen to it while I was online. I was surprised to find a video of Come in the cd. Hehe.

__________

I was at work this morning and I had to put in one hour extra because there were a lot of patients. I should have been off by 12 but I left a few minutes before two. When I was on my way out I saw a coworker of mine who was dawdling in the waiting area. She told me she was waiting for 2pm so she could file it as overtime. She asked me why I won't do the same and I told her it wasn't true. She said, "They didn't give us a break for lunch!"

This wasn't the first time that someone urged me to stay for a few more minutes so I could earn a little extra.

That's cheating. They may not know that, but it is.

I met her two separate times. She's someone I look up to. Of course I had my expectations. From what I gathered, I thought she'd be friendly and, well, deep. Strike those two things out. She was a horrible disappointment. I was introduced as a nobody so she treated me as one.

One day, bitch. One day.

Tsktsk.

I've been trying out other blog places. Tabulas is still the most user-friendly, in my opinion.

I wish I had more HTML skills.

Pah.

With the Stars

The newest addition to our household bid farewell to us last night.

She was a Dachshund, only three months old. She was given to us only two weeks ago -- a giddy, energetic little dog with a really friendly disposition. Yesterday, something was clearly wrong with her. She no longer got up to greet anybody, whereas before she would run up to anyone in sight, lie on her back and have her tummy scratched. Her mouth started foaming and she constantly had muta in her eyes. They brought her to the vet while I was out for a practice. When I got home, I searched for the little dog and found the floor in the patio where she slept scrubbed clean. Her bed was soaked in bleach and her blanket and doll were nowhere in sight.

My mom said they put her to sleep. She had canine distemper. It had already reached her brain. It seems that she already had it before she was given to us.

She was a cute little dog. We hadn't even decided what to name her yet. She was called Krinkle but I wanted to call her Georgie.

And now I'm afraid for Cowie. Distemper's highly contagious and airborne. We're bringing her to the vet for shots later. I won't now what I'll do if anything happens to my dog.

...

Oh, I was accepted at UST and UERMMC. Hello Med school! Goodbye life!

It happened again.

It is so easy to blur the line between wrong and right. Once we indulge in our passions, once we choose to look at things our own way, once we forget to think of the repercussions of our actions -- the line blurs.

I thought about it. Sigh. Maybe I'm too far gone and too LONG gone.

A movie jarred my senses. Thank God.

Finally! I bought a new case for Sam! Exciting! Now we need to have a gig soon so I can use it. Hah! The next thing on my list is an amp. Sigh. I wish I had unlimited access to an enormous amount of money. Or even just enough money to but that amp I covet.
